The Royal St George Yacht Club was established in 1838. The clubhouse was built in the Palladian style in 1843 in Dún Laoghaire. There's a nice description of it here for architecture buffs. 

Social

The clubhouse is the centre of the club's social activities. It has a bar and you can grab lunch every day, and dinners at weekends.  There are plenty of other rooms for you to relax, meet friends and business associates. There's sports activities there too, with pilates and fitness classes very popular. You can also rent boats. 

Mooring and facilities

The club has a floating dock for short stays with full waterfont facilities. 

Sailing

The club has an active sailing calendar throughout the season.
